Pixel Interview Thread

Pixel seems to be doing a lot of interviews lately, and I don't think there's a thread to cover them. If a mod can find some place to merge this, that'd be cool.
Anyway, looklooklook interview with Pixel.
In the interview, a multiplayer game is mentioned. The website thinks it's Akantares, but I'm pretty sure he's talking about Soaprun.

 

Summary:

I learned is that joining a video game company is not my style...

make a living. Since I have a wife and child

There's a good interview I found... "there is a very good chance that Cave Story 2 will be made" is one highlight I found that may interest you...

 

I had interest to know information about video game interview but not interested to work in video game company.

Anyway, it's good to have a thread for this. 'Billy's summary has stated that Pixel doesn't like working in video game companies, but is he still doing CS3D?

It's actually already being distributed right now, but it's running on my home server. Its maximum capacity is thirty people, so if it becomes too popular it's not going to work.

I prefer, instead of going to a park to play, I would rather go to ruins to play. Because you can think, feel, and search, for yourself, your own way to play.

Pixel is a genius.

 

Oh man, I hadn't actually read that interview when I posted it, but he does say some really interesting things like that.

I wish there were more ruins in the ol' US of A.
Just some more reasons to go to another continent, I guess.

 

Right now I'm developing for the iPhone, so I'm using Xcode.
