Original Sin - Dragon Boss?

How do you supposed to beat the Dragon in Original Sin when you go to the abandoned place.

I always get hit by his dragon breath thing attacks.

 

Um, dodge th breath?
It's really just a matter of spamming the ion device.

 

Ok already got it. Just saty far away from his breath attack and it will dissapear.

Is there a save state in the village of sinners cause I hate starting over again and starting in the abandoned place.

 

Yeah, the save point in the v of s is in the bottom right corner.
