• Please stop embedding files/images from Discord. Discord has anti-hotlinking logic in place that breaks links to Discord hosted files and images when linked to from anywhere outside of Discord. There are a multitude of file/image hosting sites you can use instead.

org music playback oddities on windows 9x

for some reason, in windows 98 (and possibly other versions of windows 9x), there seems to be some strange issues with org playback. im not sure how to describe them, so if needed i can provide footage of it. this was on 86box however, so it could just be an emulation issue
also, apologies if this is in the wrong topic. im not sure what topic this should go in.

Weird. Is this just with the OrgPlayer program or also when playing the game?

im not sure, as more obvious examples seem to be tracks that play farther in the game. i might try replaying the game to see.

i just checked, and yup, its not just an issue with orgplay.

Are you using a virtual machine or WINE by any chance? Not that I'm sure if it is just that or not, but I have heard org percussion differ from when you play natively.

im using 86box. it doesnt involve the percussion.

well yea but thats not all
correct me if im wrong but it seems like notes seem to cut off/change more abruptly/quickly
like i said, still dont know if im exactly saying it right
