need some help

i know im new but i really like thsi game and i want to play.

i have a little problem but this always occurs wen i play

like the text overlap and sometimes the whole entire text box is all white.
anybody know how to fix this cause i really want to play the game...

i am currently using the cave story deluxe if that might help
i have tried reinstalling but it didnt do anything at all

 

This is a very common problem.

Update your nvidia drivers and it should work.

 

hmmm well i couldnt find an update so i reinstalled my driver and it didnt work

Similar things happen when I mod with Sue's workshop. I would check to make sure you haven't scripted. If you haven't that certainly is odd. My laptop's old as dirt and it runs it fine, so I doubt that's the case. Where did you download it anyway?
