Creator: wedge of cheese
Type: CS edit
Status: In progress; final release due next Christmas
Features: All new music, many new graphics.
Blurb: The gameplay is almost identical to that of Cave Story but the graphics/music/storyline are all quite different, and have a Christmas theme.

So unfortunately this mod still isn't finished, but next year I'll probably start working on it in like September or something instead of waiting till the end of November like I did this year. Before that time, I plan to have at least a demo (probably a very short one) of The Paradise Project so y'all know I'm not a complete slacker ;).

The current progress on this mod is that everything before the Egg Corridor (no longer called the Egg Corridor though) is finished except for the sprites/facepics of the mimigas (who are supposed to be elves now).

I dunno why nobody else has posted in here. I was thoroughly entertained up to the end of the egg corridor, where I stopped. You got a little sloppy/ranoutoftime near the end though. just small stuff like the "soldier from the surface" quote, and the pics, but meh, it's still pretty awesome.

cheers.

I said everything before the Egg Corridor is done (except the sprites/facepics of the elves) meaning the Egg Corridor (Reindeer Housing) itself is not done (in fact the only thing I changed was the music).

And about the main char... it's a secret :(... though many of you will probably guess his identity I would imagine.

EDIT: Actually, Lace, I'm pretty sure I have the first post in both of my mod threads ;). Though kudos to you for having the second in both.

Forums follow an ordinal rule; the original post is post #0 and all subsequent posts are n+1. So yes, Lace does have the first post in two of your mod threads. :(

tl;dr: OP can't inb4.

And looks amusing - I'll be sure to try this when you Finnish it.

My better reply timed out. So, good work so far!
Rather than HP/Energy, how about Christmas spirit/jolliness?

I played it until Egg Corridor. Nice music and Mimigatown edits. I`ll play the whole mod after my graduation tomorrow.

Well there's not much else to play, as the current demo basically ends there...

Where the heck do you live?
I'm in the middle of winter vacation, and every school I know of graduates in may/june/july.
good luck and good job though, graduating's pretty sweet.

@Lace. In my country after finishing your exams you have to write a work about 40-60 pages long and then present it to your menthor and two other professors. If you pass you get the diploma. This is what I meant under "graduation". Thanks for your good wishes Lace, I`ll try my best! :D

@Ontopic. Uh...still playing...ok...this post is totally offtopic...

Yes, they're brewing it there. Replace the eggs with... I guess containers. Makes more sense than hollowed-out eggs having hidden technology inside.
