Making an Enemy talkable to and making it indestructable

How do you make an enemy talkable to? Ive made it indestructable, gave it flag 3000 (which couldve made its attacks not work, i needed that.) but i instantly turn left or right whenever i press down on the bute.

First of all, this belongs in the Hacking/Modding forum, not tech. issues, in fact it actually belongs in the "Quick Hacking/Modding Answers" thread, not in it's own thread.

And to answer your question, I don't think something that does damage to you can be "talkable to", although I'm not sure (I do know for sure that anything that's not on the ground cannot be "talkable to").

Actually she has the flags set right (sort of...). Setting an entities flag to 2000 will negate its damage and will run it's script when the player presses down. However, I'm guessing she has not assigned the entity an event, therefore it is not "talking". You need to give the entity an event, and then script an event for what it will "say".

But yes, seriously, stop posting modding questions in this subforum. This is the "technical issues" subforum. You need to post in the "hacking/modding" subforum.

An example of the use of flag 2000 on an enemy can be seen in the labrynth shop, with the gaudis there.

actually, flag 2000 by itself will make the thing indestructable, (it can't hurt you, though) you don't need it to be 3000.

Yeah, forgot that one, thanks for pointing that out. I remember trying to make an entity you could talk to AND kill.
