have you tried to replace it with a vanilla tsc file and just restart editing it?

did you change the file extensions?
if so, just replace .bmp with .tsc
if so, just replace .bmp with .tsc

I doubt that you could really change the actual format of a .tsc file into that of a .bmp by accident, computers aren't that dangerous. The file itself is probably unchanged apart from its different file extension. Like Parkraft said, just rename the file from a .bmp to a .tsc.
