Keys don't work.

I installed Cave Story onto my computer, applied the English patch, and Z and X won't work. None of the buttons work except ESC.

So I tried NOT installing the English patch. Same problem.

Strange, because it works on the computers at school, but not mine.
Can anyone help or suggest what the problem might be?

Well I think you're running into a common problem. First run DoConfig(should be in your cavestory folder, if not then dl cavestory again[or cavestory deluxe]). Then check to make sure that "Use gamepad" is switched to off (if DoConfig isn't translated, the box you're ticking is near the top left of the screen). This should fix your problem. If not, then I don't know.
