I usually stay on the IRC until I go to bed, which is usually at 1 am or 12 am, Eastern Standard time.

I also leave if the conversation is nothing I care for.

I had the benefit of being on the east coast for half of the summer, plus nobody gave a shit about what I did every day.

This year, I'll settle for less, but irc being empty all day is way too little.
