The difficulty in the game comes more from platforming rather than unreadable information.

Please link to the mod, not DU. There are far to many "Cave Story 2" mods out there for us to know which one you are talking about.

By this point it's fairly clear which mod you're referring to (even if hundreds of the modified 洞窟物語2 exist on DU alone).
But in short, we can't help you with a translated version of the mod, because as of now, no such download exists.
(IMO, the story's nothing special to begin with, so it really shouldn't matter when you play it)
