I edited the game, how do I get it beck to it's original form!?

Hello, I just edited Cave Story (the original PC version) a few years ago, but now I want it back to it's original unedited form! I tried re-installing it and it still had the edited form! Is there any way I can fix this mess I made?

 

What exactly was it that you edited? This might help a lot.

 

The dialogue, the maps, the events (?) etc.

 

Try deleting absolutely everything in the folder, then reinstall the game.
EDIT: Keep Profile.dat if you want to keep your saved game.

If deleting the game and reinstalling it doesn't work, then either your computer is a magical creature of evil, or you didn't change anything to begin with.

 

Or you didn't reinstall it correctly. In fact reinstall is the wrong term. Just go on the tribute site and pick up another copy of the game. Put it somewhere else and don't forget the English patch.

 

Is this CS+, CS Deluxe, or standalone CS?
