How to disable email notifications?

I've disabled notifications about alerts from new posts in threads to my email i.e., under Your Account => Settings => Preferences. But I'm still getting an email for every new post/alert to my subscribed topics. :3

 

On your watched threads, find where it says Unwatch Thread. Click it. Then when you click Watch Thread (to resubscribe), click the bubble that says you won't get email notifications
