I'm in class now, so I can't watch with sound, but I'm guessing it's making fun of how so many pop songs use one of the 24 permutations of the I, IV, V, and vi chords almost exclusively?

That would imply modern bands could actually play in tune though >_> Guess that's why most of those songs were actually pretty good (or maybe that was just because they were mostly Australian ). Maybe I'll start to notice some of these things if I ever actually learn music properly. I am including a fourth sentence here so I'll have four sentences with actually in them.
