• Please stop embedding files/images from Discord. Discord has anti-hotlinking logic in place that breaks links to Discord hosted files and images when linked to from anywhere outside of Discord. There are a multitude of file/image hosting sites you can use instead.

How can I get ahold of the Cave Story Deluxe Package for MAC?

On the main site, a Deluxe Package is mentioned for windows and Mac, but it says the Mac version isn't available. Does anyone know how I could get ahold of it?

i dont think you can.
i think not all the programs that come in that package have a mac version.

What it means is that the deluxe package contains the versions for PC and mac, not that there are deluxe versions for PC and mac. They're both the same thing.

Oh, so it's an exe ARCHIVE file, not a piece of software [smacks self on forehead]. Thanks so much.

While I'm thinking of it, has anyone ported Pixel's other games to Mac?

I just downloaded the file, only to be told that I can't open it (and my software opens every archive file out there).

So can anyone explain to me exactly how the Deluxe Package works? Sorry to be such a bother.

It's an executable file so I guess like a self-extracting archive so I guess you would need an actual computer to run it :pignon:

Unless someone feels nice enough to upload it zipped somewhere.

Megane is released for mac, you can even find it on the Mac App Store.

Could someone... please? I hate asking, but I would really love to have it, and I don't have any access to a Windows at all. I would be eternally in debt to the person who uploaded it.
