Help with side missions? (spoilers)

I'm in plantation. I just took the rocket up past the presses and saved my game at the top.

Then I thought to myself: hang on, what about the little guy in the cemetary and ma pignon and the clock room etc...?

So I flew back down past the presses (helped by firing my machine gun UP) and went and rescued the little guy and got the nemesis gun (a mistake I think! )

But what next? there are no mimigas left in the plantation so there seems nothing else to do....?

Have I passed the point of no return by taking the rocket?

 

did you save curley or are you just doing the easy game mode?
if your doing easy i think thatsall you can do

ps you can go back and get your sword back form the small people

She don't have to die you can rescue her.

 

Yep, but there's something you have to do before fighting the Core in order to do so...

 

There are other things you can do:

If you don't have the booster 1.8 (or was it 0.8?) and you can go back to the laberinth, you can get the whismical star there, also as I see you have the machine gun, you can get an item that I don't remember the name (the one that refills the machine gun faster) and the arms barrier.

you can trade the blade back

If you haven't got the bubbler, you can get it too.

I think that's everything you can do...
