Hello, I'm new here and..

I'd like to ask, how do people use fraps with this game? I DL'd the game the other day and it doesnt pop up. How do people do it? Do they get the one off of steam or something? I would buy it to test that out, but I rather not drop 10 bucks for something, that might not even worked. I did a bit of digging but I didn't really see what I was looking for.

 

I tried using Fraps with the freeware version Cave Story a while back and it worked fine. I don't think I had to change any settings.

Which one of the downloads did you download? I downloaded the Deluxe verison.

 

Fraps? I prefer Dxtory, but whatever. Fraps should work, so I'm not sure

Any idea on what is not allowing my fraps to work on this game? My fraps works on everything else so I'm drawling a blank here. Could it be a setting on my game er something?

Yes, and it failed. I just tried full 32 Bit and that worked. Is there no other way :U
I mean, I can play this, but I rather another option, like full screen.

 

Try using a different capture program

 

OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) is one that a decent amount of people use here.
I personally recommend it, what it it being free and lacking in any sort of annoying banners.
