• Hey everyone happy Christmas Eve we're aware of what's happened with the source code so to keep this simple absolutely don't post it on the site or use it to make mods with (it's not particularly preferable toward this end anyway) and tread lightly in general until we see how this settles, thanks to all and have a great holiday season -DT

Yeah, I'm in the festive mood, and it's that time of year again.
Halloween!
'Course, only someone living in a cave would not know that. :p

Anyways, what're you guys all doing to celebrate this year?
I was planning a few special things for the forums, but things never really went as planned, so they'll probably be saved for next year...
Although, I did get some sweet Pumpkin carvings this year:
Behold, a Heartless Pumpkin!
p88785-0-heartlesspumpkin.jpg

And of course, for every Heartless, there must be a matching Nobody...
So, the Pumpkin that Never Was:
p88785-1-thepumpkinthatneverwas.jpg

{Kingdom Hearts references here}
You can see I had to perform surgery on the Nobody symbol. A bit of it fell off and I had to reattach it with toothpicks....
It's also the same pumpkin, but different sides.

Anyways, I know this was posted pretty early/late {Midnight here}, but it leaves plenty of time to discuss all the events over the course of the day, along with any reaccountings later on.

So, any of you trick-or-treating? Dressing up? As what? Got any special tales? Etc.
Or how about a carving that would rival mine :(

I approve of this video.

But Trollkastel's theme is still superior.

You're right, my bad bro. But the both of them together create something rather interesting.

I'm wearing my costume, even though we're probably not going anywhere. I'm Ness/Ninten. Wanted to be Curly, but I don't have the hair for that, and the more money spent on something I'm only wearing once, the worse.

I was planning to do that and send it to Starmen.net. So keep an eye out for it there, I guess.

Just went to Buy-Back Games. They gave me candy *and* knew who I was. Then I had to take off my backpack because it was sticking to my shirt and I didn't want it to ruin the fabric. So then I turned my hat to the other side and now I'm just Ninten. Which works better because I never had red shoes anyway.

They have a Fantography secion, where I think cosplay should go if I remember right. Updated weekly, I think. So eventually it should be in an update on the front page. I'm Jackalope there too.

Not so fast, MS!
For I.
I have Flash blocked! :p

Anyways.

Here's how my Halloween really went down:
Didn't have a costume, so I spent $2 and got a devil horn headband. A black hoodie and an eyeliner beard later, and I'm pretty much the devil. At around 6 the little shits kids started dribbling by (about 1 every 10 minutes yay suburbia...). At around 8 it starts to get dark and I notice a couple groups just walk right by, so I decide to sit outside on the steps with the candy (and hopefully get a few more). So I'm sitting there for about ten minutes when this group breaks their up one side, down the other route to come to our house. As they got closer I heard them discussing whether it (me) was one of those animatonic decorations with the glowing eyes that jump at you when you get close (and of course, I'm sitting perfectly still). So the little kids approach and I, being the "dummy", spring to life and start handing out candy. And... I did this until about 11 o' clock (when I ran out of candy...!)
Few things of note:
- Kids dressed as ninjas got bonus candy.
- One little girl was too scared to come get candy.
- One boy wet himself.
- It was 0° C / 32° F outside, so I was freezing my ass off.
- You just lost the game.

+1 RAPE token if you get the title of this post.

Speaking of which, when are we going to do that; I can't seem to catch you on Hamachi.

Inorite?
I would've trick/treated, too, if my mask wasn't so bothersome. >.>;

Erm, sounds like a ton of fun?
Reminds me of the spook houses we go to every year. :p
I went with a real scared-y cat this year, and she stayed at the front where all the scares happened.
Since I was near the back, I'd be rounding a corner trying to catch up when there was some bump or scream or some other scary sound, and then she'd scream in response.
Would've ruined it if it wasn't so funny to watch her.
At one part, this guy in a werewolf costume jumped out behind some barrels and scared her so bad she jumped into the wall and then said "Ow, I hurt myself...".
Then both me and the guy in the costume started snickering.
There were some jack-in-the-boxes at the very end, where two guys in clown costumes jumped out to scare her. She was so frightened that she ran out without noticing one of them following her all the way to the end, where it screamed as she turned the last corner to get out.
Although, it was pretty awkward when some guy in a gorilla suit was trailing me in hopes of spooking me.
I noticed him, and so he just followed in awkward silence.

Besides that, I didn't really do much of interest...
