anyone know the tool where you hack cavestory?
its like you change values constantly to isolate a variable then you can edit the value of the variable
anyone know what it is called?

Or Cheat Engine. That lets you hack anything. ANYTHING. From MMORPG's to Cave Story to just about anything.

Yeah, you're looking for Cheat Engine.

There's other programs like T-Search, but I don't really see why you'd use anything else.
