Whether or not anyone cares I thought I might post this thread anyway.

I've set up quite a number of events on the calendar set for popular and not so popular games, you can view them at the bottom of the forum.

I'll also add other events over time as I think of them, or people tell me of them. I also plan on adding systems to it as well at some point.

Thank you. Also, it's Pokemon day apparently. Blue version is best, just so you guys know.

I would agree with you there just because I grew up on Blue, and later Yellow. I wouldn't add Red to my collection until D/P/P were released.

Also, most of the write-ups for the games are lacking. I had more to write about some games than I did others, but if anyone wants to add their own write-up feel free to post it and I'll edit it in.

Otherwise most of the info on games you don't know about will have to come from the magical powers of google + wiki.

The days are to mark the advent of a particular series; it's birthday, if you will.
The dates mark the launch of the first game in the series more often than not.
And, no, Starcraft II isn't coming out at the end of the month. That would be the day that Starcraft I was released.

Make sense?

I HAVE OUTRAGE!
Why the hell is Total Annihilation nowhere on the calendar?!
It's still as popular as StarCraft (minus the deperate nerds competing for cash), it has a healthy modding community and it kicks serious ass!

Yes, I did.
In my humble opinion that's an inversion of the spirit of gaming.
