Umm... ok... so I want to make a level in VVVVVV and Super Meat Boy (And other games with level creators) based on the first cave in Cave Story... The problem in that I can't find a good map of the place. What I need is a map with a grid so I know where exactly to place the blocks so I can make a decent copy of the first cave. Any help will be appreciated. Also, sorry if this thread doesn't fit in this section.

Use cave editor and look at the map?
For the grid, just draw a grid onto the tilesheet (all edges of all tiles) with paint.net or something (just draw the lines) and look at the map again.

He was trying to draw them on the real map. That's not really very efficient.

To make it even faster, write a program to do it for you. Or use the magic of multiplicative copy & paste.

Duh. We wanted him to have more trouble so that he realizes that making game levels or any part of a game really is actually hard work.
