Exploration of the Island (fanficey)

It all started with the helicopter I was riding around. I saw a speck in the distance, so I approached it, wondering what it was. I thought it was a piece of debris, but it kept getting bigger and bigger. It was an island, suspended in the air by some strange force. I decided to land on a flat spot on it, which seemed to be some sort of ancient ruin. I found a door blocked by a large brick. I'll try to get past it later.

It was some tits, suspended in the air by some strange force. I decided to touch a smooth spot on it, which seemed to be some sort of esctacy. I found a "passage" blocked by large quantities of milk and flesh. I'll try to get past it later.

Anyway, got through the door. Jackhammer slipped about fifty times so now it looks like someone shot at the door. There's a large cave filled with spikes and lava, I'll try to get through it.

3:25 PM

That was close. Walked over these huge metal block things. Found a little jetpack and used that to get past a few things. I've been able to walk through a few things, and I saw a bat. Weird. Now I'm standing on some place with a large hole in the middle, there's a server I'm connected to right now, and a floppy disk laying on the floor. I saw a little white speck down the chasm, and looking down I also saw a lot of gaps that those metal blocks would fit in. I still have the jetpack, I'll use that for a safe landing. Get to you later-if this laptop survives.

Looks like it got through. Lucky me. I found a small shelter hidden in a few blocks, think I can stay here for a while. There's no time for that, I'm going to cross a lake.

 

Sort of an iffy start there...
Look! A speck! I must land on it!
Look! A cave with spikes and lava! Ill try to get through that!
It also must be very difficult to jetpack to safety while holding a laptop.

Not that I want to sound cruel or anything, I mean, I like the idea you have here, it's just that the main character's incentive is ...odd?
"There's no time for that"? I thought they were exploring a speck, not on a mission.
Also, if your a scientist or an explorer, regardless of mission or drifting, your more likely to be recording the surrounding with detail. It's not just 'an ancient ruin', it's this marble wasteland with cracked statues and vines, with inscriptions everywhere.

Write more though, I wanna see what you have in mind.
