Double jump with Booster 0.8

Hey, so I'm just leaving this here :
I need a way to replace the Booster 0.8 with a double jumping mechanic.
I tried many times to achieve this, but it looks like I'm missing something...

Here is the Double Jump hack @gamemanj has made back in 2016. I used it as a feature for the mod used for the Make a Good Cave Story Level contest last year.
