Curly mode graphics

Whenever I try to start Curly Mode up on the Wii with original graphics, it always starts me with the new graphics. Not that this is a huge deal, but can someone try this out on their Wii and make sure my Cave Story isn't fucked up?

I'm pretty sure this is just how it is. It didn't work for me either. Not that I really cared anyway.... :J

They actually didn't bother to make Curly mode graphics for 1x.
