CS Merchandise

I'm just wondering, is there a place online that sells Cave Story merchandise, besides those buttons I see floating all over the place? Anything such as wallets, shirts, or anything of that sort? If not, should something like that be created?

Wouldn't you need like a license or something to sell merch based on Pixel's stuff?
And what buttons I've not seen any (Although I might like one)

But if permission granted, I think such an online shop should be created. Even if it's Nintendo, as long as they would'nt cheese it up.

Heheh, that's where I got my "Cave Story is Awesome" shirt from, too.

The scanner cuts off the words "Just because you've never heard of it, doesn't make it any less awesome.", sadly. {And it has the link to the MG Tribute site on the back, too}
But I can't find it anymore on that website, I think it got removed for copyright reasons. {But that means I have a near-one-of-a-kind shirt ^.^}
And whatever happened to those one funky shirts? The ones that were suppose to be getting permission from Nicalis or something...
{I remember two shirts had Quote and Balrog, with half of their bodies "X-Ray'd" to show their insides, which were... weird...}

sounds like a job for fangamer. They started out as like kind of a fan-merchandise Mother shop linked to starmen.net but they're becoming more of their own thing, with like chrono trigger and Metal Gear and all kinds of things. And I guess they just make them generic enough to not get in trouble with any legal departments, or maybe they really did strike a deal with them? I don't think I ever really read the details of how they're able to do what they do, lol.

(They even sell completely fan-made Mother 3 strategy guides, which are about the coolest things ever. I'd kill for those made for more games, even more than the cool shirts and stuff they make... )

But yeah, Cave Story would be a wicked thing for them to add to their repertoire if possible. Maybe we should bug them about it..

Well damn, I can see why. That's probably the absolutely weirdest Cave Story fanart I could fathom being put on a shirt... and it sort of "takes the wonder out of things" like a comment noted, whereas Pixel likes for things to be very open so that you can interpret them however you please, it seems.
Though, that Polar Star shirt looks BADASS.

Sounds like even more awful PR for Nicalis, though. Seems like everyone was holding their breaths up to CS Wii's release and hoping for the best, but here a couple months later and I can hardly find anything that isn't highly negative about them, lol...

 

Yeah those are some of the strangest ideas for a shirt i have yet to see.

Altough, Zero Friends happens to be the single wierdest.

So I can see the reason for decline.
