Police in Paignton, Devon are hunting cruel pranksters who used a high pressure air pump to inflate a families dog.
Family pooch Buster, a 7 year old Collie dog, was lured from the family home and apparently drugged, before the as yet unidentified criminals inserted a high pressure pump into his rectum and inflated him.
Horrified owner Tabitha Wiggins, 42, found him in a car park near the families home after the worried family mounted a search for their missing dog.
“He’s huge” she told us, biting back tears, “I didn’t recognize him. He looks like a furry whale. Until he deflates he can barely walk, and has trouble fitting through doors”.
Veterinary Surgeons have said that Buster, though shaken by his ordeal, will make a full recovery. He’ll either deflate slowly over several weeks, or let it all out in one go with a titanic fart that will shatter nearby windows.
