[CaveStory+] Going to hell?

So I'm pretty new to CaveStory+, but I've seen some mention of a "Hell" zone/level. I assume this is where the fireplace in the Assembly Hall in Amiga Village leads? Also, if that IS how you get to hell, can you go there whenever you want?

I saved some jellyfish juice from Grassland and I can put the fire out with it if I want If I wanted to do such a thing, what should I expect and be prepared for?

In all versions of Cave Story, Hell is always reached by completing a number of tasks during the game and going into the prefab house at the end of the game. I literally just explained this yesterday to a new user so actually look around if you're looking for info

When I read this thread, I thought it was asking if the game Cave Story+ was going to hell. I think the game still crashes if you finish the machine gun challenge, so maybe it has?

Cave Story as a whole went to hell back when NICALiS took ownership of it.

 

Dunc, I think you kinda need to chill. I think ON3i11 was just asking a quick question. After he got his answer, he probably had no more use for the fourms anyway. You don't need to blame everything on your self dude.
Anyway, that would be funny (And terrible) if the fireplace in Mimiga Village actually did lead to Sacred Grounds. I actually found the bubbler after my first run. I was looking around in the data files and one of them was a picture of Grasstown with the person with the bubbler and I had no clue what weapon that was.

I think whenever they get a hold of a game I like a part of me dies, I'm just hoping they don't mess up the Binding of Isaac: Rebirth.

 

Pretty soon Nicalis will have the rights to every major indie game in existence, and then the minor ones will become major and the cycle will start all over again
