Hello there! I've been playing Cave Story+ and so far I quite like it, but I do have an issue with it: the original soundtrack lacks the stereo effects it should have! I understand that's very nitpicky, but for some reason it rather irritates me. However, a friend of mine says he can fix that, though it'll take him quite a lot of work. He said if I can find enough people interested in such a thing, he'll make a patch for the game that restores the music to its original glory! So, is anyone interested?
Some technical information: apparently, the game produces the original soundtrack on the fly, like a MIDI - probably a hold-over from the WiiWare version, where that method was used to save space. My friend wouldn't be able to replace that, but he would replace the .oggs for the new soundtrack with ones from the old. The hard work would be in getting them to loop properly.
