Cave Story - GameJolt

GameJolt is a great community, where many free indie games are uploaded by developers and are being featured, and numerous downloads are being done.

If you simply look at the list of Best Indie Games at GameJolt, there are so many great games being shared...Hopefully the developer will submit the game there, and with no doubt it'd be rated the highest

otherwise I'm not sure what this thread is for other than some kind of elaborate plug for VidjaZap

 

I'm having trouble telling whether or not this is a spambot and last time that happened it was pocketcake and god knows we don't want that again

 

Am not sure what you guys are talking about, and how this could be spam, I was just mentioning the site features a lot of indie games, but the developer himself should submit the game. GameJolt is a very popular community.

Well if you had checked my initial post, towards the end, I had said, "With no doubt it'd be rated the highest at GameJolt", that shows how much appreciation I've for the game?

Moreover I've posted in other threads dealing about Cave Story. If you want to check that, please do..

Wow, whoever thought this would be made into a big issue. Obviously this is the Cave Story forums, so I'd be talking about CS only. I highly regard this game, just like Half-Life, and want it to be known among a wider audience (especially the newer generation, considering the game is nearly 10 years old), which is the reason for this thread...

 

There's really no reason to not be specific though, unless you can't be bothered to type the 2 more letters required in "Cave Story" than in "the game." We get a ton of spam threads here, and this could have easily qualified as one, just an extremely elaborate one.

 

Guy the thing is your post was worded like a really good spambot post. There's no need to take offence; we get so many spambots daily that it's hard to tell when a post is worded so incredibly vaguely.

 

Regardless, the developer (Pixel) doesn't view these forums at all, so with that I refer you back to Noxid's first post in this thread:

In any case the best way (albeit not the fastest way) to ask Pixel about this is to post on his BBS. Keep in mind that Pixel's understanding of English isn't the greatest. Be clear and concise.

Regardless I doubt that Pixel will sign up to an English gaming site.

You could however ask Nicalis, since they most certainly speak English.

Eh, Bombchu had been here for at least two-and-a-half months when that happened, so it was a little less than a year ago... Which I admit it's hard to believe it's been that long since.

Anyway, jackuars, sorry about the dubious replies to this thread, try not to take it personally. Like the others have said, we've just had a lot of spambots lately. If it makes you feel any better, I for one knew immediately by looking at your join date and post count that you weren't a spambot.
