Something I made because I was bored. It's basically just a beta remake based on the Cave Story beta video someone posted. Not much is done, but I'll probably do more later on.

There should be a download for a rar that contains it along with several otehr mods somewhere on this board. Don't ask me where that was though, I don't remember. Perhaps one of the mods/admins might.

I see you've got some problems with the boss fight but other than that you did a very good job, especially with the clinic :D

Would you like some help with it? I should be able to fix it no problem.

Actually, believe it or not, I JUST finished it right before I read your comment. Puu is now fully-functional as a boss(it was quite a bumpy road for me), and I have improved on the boss area.

Now all I need(but I'm NEVER going to be able to do) is the extra beta stuff like the HUD and cion system.

I wouldn't really worry about changing the HUD... and yeah what would we even do with Cions? ;)

Nice work but... did you color Su's portrait? I don't mind, but if this is meant to be a recreation of the original, then it probably should stay sepia.

I traced over a screenshot, yeah. I colored it because it didn't look right the way it was (no, not because of the sepia color, it just looked weird).
