Hello everyone!I hope i'm not breaking any rules. This is my first ever mod and it's something i would like to add on to as i get better at modding.
For now this is just a small thing aimed more towards bronies unless you are fine with a pony or don't like Curly for some reason then by all means get this. Simply replace your BASE folder with the Cave Lyra+ BASE folder. This mod is based off the original Cave Lyra mod for Cave Story.

As i said the mod is simple. This mod replaces the normal story with the Curly Story so playing on Easy or Hard will result in you playing as Quote and meeting a second Quote with Curly's lines but hay that could be funny.
Anyways i also did a couple other things like change Curly's portraits to Lyra pics and did a small recolor of the HUD. If you come across any issues inform me and i will fix them!

. Is it possible to change the dialogue of CS+?
You can use boosters lab to load a cs+ game by opening stage.tbl in the data directory, and from that you can modify the scripts

Thanks for the info Noxid. (i moved this hear cuz i deleted a earlier post)
I hope to implement a more custom soundtrack to Cave Lyra+ that replaces the NEW soundtrack. Not 100% sure i will make it cuz im terrible at making music but i will manage something. Hopefully what ever i do in the end will be better than the NEW soundtrack.

Like i said it ain't nothing huge. But i put a surprising amount of work into replacing most of the soundtrack. I also changed a bit of dialogue along with portraits and a few other things. But still nothing huge.
honestly the biggest selling point of this mod is the music i put in. If you don't want the re-sprite and just wanna hear the NEW soundtrack replacement then by all means do that. instead.

I have a question. Somehow even though i only messed with dialogue the assembly hall no longer exists and leads to the farm instead. This slipped by due to my lack of care towards the bubbline. Can someone help me fix this?

Might be a good idea if you show the TSC for assembly hall.
You might have changed the tsc for the door to it though.

I can't really find anything, maybe you just set the event of the door to assembly hall to go the one that leads the player to the farm?

Im baffled to. Im gonna have to re-do the mod. Thankfully it won't be that much as i do have backups of the game. So i can just go to the latest version that didn't have this issue and just re-add from there.

Thanks a ton! That seems to have fixed it! Im still gonna test play the new version to make sure everything else is well. I don't know how that go there either. But thank you.

With the help of Doors Version 1.5 is out. I hope that is everything that needs fixing.
I test played the game and i came across no issues. Not sure if i will add anything more but who knows.
