Every time I try and open Cave Editor, I get an error message.

"This application ahs failed to start because MFC71.DLL was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem."

Anyone know what to do???

But Google couldn't have failed...!!....

Ha!! I searched, and look what I found!

Ah Google, you never fail me....

EDIT:
Oh? 99 Posts? What happens at 100? =D

EDIT AGAIN:
Oh wait, that looks like it's for something else...
But it's still the same .DLL, so try it? =D

More Google?

I'ma look a little more with Google {I keep getting pages about a dood with the last name "Cave", who's an "Editor" in a magazine....Ahah..}
But, just in case, did ya try re-dling and/or re-installing it?

EDIT: I googled and found this place again!!

EDIT AGAIN: Ah, found something.
Look's like you're not the only one who's had this problem here {Found this link posted by Andwhyisit >=D}
If ya want the thread where from where this link came from, click here!

Anyways, looks like you just lost it and need to reinstall and get it again....

I tried installing the latest IE, that didn't work...Maybe Cave Editor should COME with that DLL, just in case...

EDIT: Never mind. I just searched through my computer, turns out I ahd the file in a smv video compiler...Thanks for your help, though.

So that means success?
I've never had this problem with Cave Editor, before, so I wasn't sure if I could figure it out.
Also, you should also be aware of the few quarks with Cave Editor, for example, you're gonna have a very hard time with backgrounds {I got it to work once, but it was kinda weird...}, so you might have to switch to Sue's Workshop or something, like right before Demo's or releases or whatever...
{This doesn't mean Cave Editor isn't worth the extra trouble, though; it's a lot better than Sue's in a lot of ways...
..my favorite is the script writing..}

it's a lot better than Sue's in a lot of ways...
...and also a lot worse in a lot of ways.
as much as I love cave editor, it is far to glitchy for me to want to use. granted, it has more features, but has some odd tendencies.

It may be odd and clunky, but the only real problem I've had with it is the problem with the backgrounds....

...Then again, I might just have been corrupted by using it for so long before ever touching Sue's Workshop =D
