can't get damaged for some reason...

so i downloaded cavestory+ from the humble indie bundle and i've been playing the game and loving it.

but then i realized that for some odd reason, i can not get damaged

i walk into enemies without it affecting me, sometimes i walk right through them

i am running the game on linux, so i dunno if that is causing most of the trouble?

 

Yeah, the Linux version is quite buggy.
I recommend using the Search button in the hotbar above to find out if a thread has already been made about this, and possibly a solution.

 

nvm! i redownloaded it and it works perfectly now

 

Huh, mystery solved I guess.
How long ago did you download the exec with issues?
They may have fixed it in a later version.
