Cannot exit room where two sisters are.

I am playing on a PSP and im at the point where I am back at egg corridor and its all destroyed. I went and fought the two sisters (dragons) and they dropped a treasure box of missiles. The box dropped right in front of the door.

I can't figure out how to get out of here now. I am not sure if its a glitch or if there is a trick to this. If it is a problem does anyone have a work around? If I try to press down in front of the door it just says empty.

You can't go out through the door. Instead, go to the far right of the room. You should see some sort of hole in the wall. Press down there.

 

oh, thank god. I been whizzing around this room walking into walls and shooting everything.
