Cab Stony: A Bizarre And Downright Stupid Cave Story Edit [GIVEN UP]

One day, I got bored and changed The Doctor's dialog to make him sound more jerkish.

Then, I changed Quote's sprite to a resemblance of Fix-It Felix Jr.

Suddenly, a nagging question crawled up my cerebellum into the oddity that is my brain: just how much could I screw up Cave Story and get away with it?

And that's how I came up with Cab Stony: an experiment in insanity.

The maps and tilesets are mostly the same, but the sprites, dialog, and enemies have been changed around.

 

We've been getting a bit of mods like this, but I'll still give it a chance.

Pretty much, I've made the Doctor sound like a complete jerk, some facial expressions have been changed, and I have plans to make Ballos speak more about his torture in the pre-boss dialog.

 

That didn't take long to end. Why did you give up?

 

Dafuq? It started, someone was willing to play it, then you quit it

Jesus christ, this happens all the time now. If you don't think you can make a mod that takes legitimate work, then why did you start it in the first place?

I'm pretty sure the record is void, since a lot of people just have the idea, was about to work on their mod, and then decided not to. So it would be 0 seconds.
