to preface, i am not really asking for help - i'm just curious if anyone else has encountered this and the modding community server isn't exactly swarming with mac users...

anyway - BL seems to have a mac-specific bug where it cannot correctly update the 'last load' mod to the .plist file (how java preferences are stored on OS X) - this has spanned at least two macbooks and several versions of OS X

the 'load last' issue is thus:
- when no mod is loaded, BL will attempt to search for a specific mod directory that it has become 'stuck' on, seemingly at random - ie. my copy was stuck on a random modfest collab mod i made ages ago, and several months of working on evergreen has not shifted the directory again - if there's a pattern to what causes it to actually update the directory, i haven't yet figured it out
- 'load' will simply open the current 'stuck' directory, or my user folder if it cannot find it (default behaviour)
- however, when another mod is loaded, BL will remember it and 'load last' will reload it correctly; this only seems to last until the application is restarted and the various save/exports do not affect this
- changes to the .plist file do not take effect until the computer is restarted; deleting it will reset the directory to the BL folder (where i'm currently at as i do not have the correct tools to edit .plist files)

(notably, BL also can't seem to update the program window framerects, stored in editor.rect... i'm unsure if this is related)

it's not my copy of booster's lab - i've used it on my windows laptop (via dropbox - which i will preemptively clarify can be ruled out as the cause as this issue predates my usage of it) without any problem and this has persisted over a few different versions of BL, and i assume it's not my laptop for aforementioned reasons, so... has anyone else has come across this???
