After hard work, I present to your attention the sequel of Cave Story - After Story. (Oh, seriously, another one, how many are there? I can't even count them.)
Anyway, it's there. And you can play it!

--- A little bit about the plot ---
Quote, Curly and Balrog lived their lives peacefully on the surface after the events of Cave Story.
One day Quote decided to take a walk in the local area but it ended in failure.
He fell into a mysterious abandoned place, the only exit from which was a teleporter to a floating island.

Quote was subsequently drawn into a new adventure full of new characters, enemies and mysteries.
Will he be able to save the world from a new threat?

This mod is very important to me. It was started back in early 2021 and has been in production hell ever since. It has gone through two complete reboots.
I had to rethink a lot of things and become more responsible in terms of game design and writing. I also spent a lot of time and effort understanding assembler to create new entities and weapons.
Some of what already exists may also be changed, as there are some things I still don't like.

One way or another, I need feedback. I really want to know what you think about this. I am ready to accept any criticism. This will help me move forward in fulfilling my childhood dream and
I will not retreat from my goal. (Seriously, I was an 11 year old kid who played the latest version of Jenka's Nightmare and just thought: "Hmm, why not make my own?")

PS: I warn you that English is not my native language, so there may be text errors in the game and this post. I think you will understand.
Also, what do you think about the mod name? Does it sound good? It's just hard for me to say whether this is allowed in English.

WOW!Such an interesting mod!The new Bosses and monsters are very astonishing and cool!Rarely to see such a nice mod!
By the way,the life capsule in mimiga cave seems a bit hard..but I got it finally after a few tries.
Also I'm looking forward to the next version and the finished one!If you finished it finally,I can bet that it will be a High quality mod like Jenka's Nightmare and so on!

Thank you!:) I'm glad you liked my mod. I will try to release a new version as soon as possible (if i can overcome my procrastination ha-ha).
Also thanks for the comment about the life capsule. I'll add some hint to make it easier for players to get it.
Since you're interested, I'm from Russia. I also have some difficulties with English. I could also be wrong somewhere, because I don’t know how reliable the translators are.

Played through the demo

-Everything is quite nicely laid out in the maps, clean tiling with appropriate colours/music and all seems to work as it should
-Y'know it does make quite a bit of sense that the hermit's hut would line up with the village there, don't think I'd considered that before
-I love the way the kashungo frog people walk :orangebell:
-It's good to see some original bosses, they're maybe a bit slower than necessary but it's still early days

Going well, hope you can keep progressing with it

Yes I know the bosses aren't very fast and can even be easy to fight. I noticed this too and might work on their difficulty later.
Oh, those frogs were called kashungo? I remember seeing this name in some mods, but I don't remember if it's a canon name. Either way, there's nothing stopping me from just renaming them in the next update.
