A random thought...

Well this is kinda trivial and I'm not sure if it can even be changed but whatev...

Anyway, I find it kinda annoying that sometimes when you post in a thread it marks it as unread, which makes no sense because obviously you read it and obviously you read what you posted. Is there any way this can be changed?

I find this almost always happens whenever I post the 'n1th' post of a thread, or better known as the start of a new page.

It's just a glitch, there isn't a way to fix it.

I think what she meant was that it's a glitch in the vBulletin system, meaning it's not something that our mods/admins/staff have control over. We could, however, report it to vBulletin and see if they can fix it.

This. Basically.

We would have to upgrade to another version for it to be fixed. Which is something Thomas has to deal with.

 

Therefore it can be fixed. Which is exactly what I said. I think it should be fixed, too, the glitch is really annoying.

 

I never found it to be as annoying as these:

Or maybe I ignore it. But the graphical misalignment does perturb me from time to time.

How? If it happens you just click quick links at the top and then mark all forums as read. Simple.

I think I may have discovered a way to avoid the glitch that I created this thread to address. If you navigate step by step back to the main forums index rather than skipping steps, I think the glitch doesn't happen. So like if you were viewing this thread, rather than clicking immediately on "Mirai Gamer Forums", instead click first on "Forum Suggestions", then "MiraiGamer.Net Forums", and finally on "Mirai Gamer Forums".

In case anyone cares...
