Windows 8 is terrible, but windows 8.1 is perfectly usable on a laptop as long as you know the difference between metro and desktop apps, i literally use it everyday with little to no problems.

Tried it today, it ran great, there were a few parts where you'd notice it start frameskipping (mostly boss fights) So would this count as an answer to the thread?
