Re: How were you introduced to CS? I saw it on a list of free Mac games. I downloaded it and was completely hooked immediately by the gameplay and the oddball storyline. I had to beat it, and I didn't play any other games at all until I did.

I'm completely addicted to Roguelikes, and this one's one of my favorites. Haven't played it in a while though, I got incredibly frustrated because I died in the very last dungeon (and for those of you who don't know, death is permenant in roguelikes). I'm also a fan of Angband, Ancient Domains...

The whole thing sounds off. But especially the high notes, they sound like they're a almost a semitone off pitch. It hurts my ears, to be honest. And these are ripped directly from the game? It just doesn't make any sense, and I usually have a very good ear for music and pitch.

In my first play-through, Monster X was incredibly hard - but only because I didn't think to kill all the Gaudis before fighting the boss. Once I did that it was easy. :pignon:

No, other stuff sounds fine. We are talking about the same thing, right? The Mp3 album that comes in a .zip, not the Ogg files.
