Because you're supposed to go the normal cave with Booster 0.8? Without it the cave is a bit harder. And the weapon you choose (Polar star, snake, machine gun, spur) can make it a lot easier/harder. But I still think that it's just you. I'm pretty sure they didn't make normal cave harder and...
