I have found Cave Story by accident and didn`t know that it is a great game. Besides that I almost deleted it when I died at First Cave because of a spike! I AM SO GLAD NOW I DIDN`T! It`s now quite interesting and unbeleivable to me how I could beat Monster X at the first time WITHOUT DYING...

I noticed this post today. As a coincidence I started to play "a one life run-i.e. playing through the whole CS without dying" yesterday, and failed because I was nervous and inpatient. Last time I made a "one life run" 6 months ago and succeeded.

I think andwhyisit is right about the core. I never realized that. Also, I think it doesn`t float naturally because of gravity. First Jenka made it float. But Jenka`s got old and weak (even Balrog defeats her in the game) and realized that she can not match the "pulling down" force of Ballos...

Everyone says "Misery`s Cat". Why do you suspect it`s hers? If it were hers at least Jenka would care of her daughters cat and not leave it in the labyrinth. Why not somebodies cat from the labyrinth? Or an "alley cat" or more precisely a "labyrinth cat" ?

My favourite is Mischievous Robot definitely. I like Charge too, because it is panic inducing when you play CS for the first time-giving a nice game atmosphere that the fight with the Doctor is for life and death.

My favourite thing is that that I can not pick a favourite thing. In other words I like that the game is perfect throghout. But if I must pick something as favourite then it is the game`s atmosphere.

Yes, Ballos makes a good Eggman because they have similar body constitution. Also, it`s not nice to get bored in class, Sonic. :)
