It shouldn't as long as it's in the correct file format and still has prt in front of the name. Did you remove the read only status from the games files? You can't do alot in cave editor untill you do.

Assuming you're using cave editor, go to the actual game files and copy one of the current ones, then rename it, and it will be a copy of the same sheet. Then you can edit it as you please. Data>Stage>any file that begins with "prt"

Nope, sorry it worked. The booster 2.0 is working, I had a saving issue. I just learned to never edit HEx with cave editor open. It works all fine now. You were already going in the credits for all your current help, but now it's going to be more exagerated.

The booster 2.0 seems to have the same amount of fuel as the booster 0.8. I'll double check.

Got it to work. But I did want the booster 0.8 to be a double jump, and the booster 2.0 to be infinite. If that seems like a pain, then this will still be great.

Alright, maybe I'll see if I can make the bullets travel faster, and the time of each bullet shorter.

How would you make a gun break the oldest bullet fired, and create a new one when the player fires the gun if the max number of bullets is fired? I'm working with an edited fire ball, and wan't to make it so if you've fired all your bullets, then you can fire more, at the cost of the first ones...

I really like the game. The music seemed to be really good, although at times tile placement could have used work. How many of these songs did you make your self? "meaning that their original and not from midis"

Is there another resource hacker I can use? When I use the current one, some of my songs are saved, but when I play the song in the game file, they play the original song. I check on it, and it is the same song as before in the resource hacker as well.

I hadn't thought of this much, but I would have to say "Egg Corridor?" was my favorite. It had one of the best songs in the game, really good sprites, well used enemies and the falling spikes that kept you moving.

Yeah, when I first thought of the idea, I thought of it as a level with similar difficulty to hell. But that would be cheap. By the way, I was thinking that for the double jump, the height gained should be 1 1/2 blocks.

I really like this. The location of enemies was really good, and the little things thhat would happen out of the blue were really neat. I also really like the music and sound effects. Since I suck at ORG music, all I have to say is that I hate you so much right now, "in a sarcastic way".

Go back to the tribute site and dowload Cave Editor, it should be uunder downloads. Noxoid's guide is pretty much all you need for information after that. DO NOT DOWNLOAD SUE'S WORKSHOP. It doesn't have as many functions, and is harder to get off of.

Alot of people thought I was a genious and asked a million questions as to how I did it. A month of time learning how the editor and TSC worked, and 2 hours on the actuall work.

Darn, Do you think there is a way to make booster 0.8 only mavoe you up once, but straight up like booster 2.0, while the fuel is set to limitless? It is really important, if not, I might have to try another type of game play.

Does booster 0.8 and booster 2.0 rely on the same code for depleteing fuel? I wanted a double jump from booster 0.8 and infinite from 2.0. If not, then could someone please let me know their offsetes in assembly? "Offset information is the information I hate finding the most"
