Two things... I really like the intro idea, except for the fact that it gives away that they are on a floating island. That's one of the things about Cave Story, Quote's in a 'cave', and everyone uses the term 'island', so one begins to think they are underneath some tropical island in the ocean...

You raise a good point, but I will only use the Last Battle tune if there is a version that is mainly intense rock/techno music. Intense music is needed.

I was actually going to use Island of Eden for the final boss battle, for the three reasons that it is 8 minutes long, relatively evil-sounding, and has a wicked guitar solo (which is hard to beat ;) ).
