Is it possible to have the flames initiate after a certain amount of time, in waves? Rather than just having them spawn after you drain the health metre, is it possible to incorporate them as just being part of a phase that is cycled through? I'm wondering if there are other alternatives that...

I don't think my problem was so much with the bosses having additional phases, just more of the execution of presentation. I love additional phases too, and I do agree that they add a level of freshness to familiar bosses (sorry if I didn't make that clear) but I feel like the boss' health metre...

If your track uses the default Cave Story drums or no percussion at all, you could convert the ORG to a Ptcop and then export each track solo (with the muted option checked). If you do use the newer drums...you could try making a copy of your ORG, delete all tracks except for one, then export...

Nice to see someone using extreme alternating panning for a single note! That can create some pretty cool effects especially on a lower wait time (though that could be said for almost any ORG technique). The ORGs are short, but fun mini loops. The beat one could probably serve as a good basis...
