This mod is amazing. You might want to try balancing the shotgun though, it's OP even with the ridiculously long load time.

I think the second one is best, although maybe with a cooler color scheme. (And I mean that literally. Use cool colors like blue.)

Yeah, I figured you were trying to make it look like a flower-thing. The problem is that it just looks like an asterisk. Try making the petals thinner and longer.

Yeah, I know I wouldn't want to be stuck working on something I didn't like and didn't challenge me. Then again, at my current level of modding expertise, pretty much everything challenges me.
