It's a toss up between the fan and bubbleball for me, the fan shot has great general coverage while the bubbler is great on slopes and not at all bad on the flats either. Love how it looks as well. Pixel makes the best bubble projectiles :debug:

What no that's a terrible idea, why would we ever want to lose that much information/history? Assuming it is the problem (seems increasibly probable), would a script work at all? If not, it's probably only a few hundred posts in actuality, because some will be TSC dumps with multiple commands...

It wouldn't surprise me if that were the case, IP Board would display posts after the < if submitted initially but if you went to edit them all the text after would be lost, so it's possible they weren't read properly during the shift. In this case there may be a lot of old posts in the modding...

Would you mind if I ran some of the post and member data rebuilding options now/soon? I'd like to see if that'll fix some of the incorrect usergroups and such but I thought I'd check with you first to make sure it won't break something or get in the way of something you're changing.

There's no custom display name option anymore, so anybody who was using a different display name to their login name will be stuck with the latter for a little while. The classic user titles have now been implemented; I don't know if you'll have to post or pass a milestone or whatnot before...

I'm immediately getting the impression of modern overdesigned-yet-underfunctional message board software. I guess it feels more like the designers have a better basic idea of what a forum requires than IP Board did back when we first moved, at least. May as well get the complaints started...

Yeah the forum move seems like a good time to do some general updating, it's been a long time, even if making things clearer and more obvious can only do so much. It would give me something to do as well while andy is busy un-breaking everything :orangebell:

Wrong, actually, bumps that don't acknowledge that they're bumping and try to continue the conversation as though it had never ended are entirely disallowed (outside of 'timeless' threads such as rule threads). Even then for something this ancient I'd almost always prefer to see a new topic...
