Please stop embedding files/images from Discord. Discord has anti-hotlinking logic in place that breaks links to Discord hosted files and images when linked to from anywhere outside of Discord. There are a multitude of file/image hosting sites you can use instead.

Cave Story Run - A Pseudo 3D Proof of Concept
This is actually a really neat concept, I haven't really seen anything like this done in Cave Story yet. I think the only issue (to me) is that the frame advancement of the spikes is a tad too choppy and it makes timing a little bit trickier. -
