Yeah I got a problem. When I make a new map and set a start position there, the screen is black when I run cave story. I figured it could be because the script was empty, so I added a... #101 <MSGlolsup<END ...in there.

Lowell it happens as soon as I write in it, but sometimes it lets me save the script and it then crashes. It doesn't save any changes though.

Yeah I'll try that. ... Is it necessary to rename all the pbm's to bmp's or is there a way around it?

Okay I did delete it, so now it's an empty script. But when I try editing it and saving, Cave Editor just crashes. Doesn't matter what I put in the script.

Thanks man it saves now, I made a new map and it stayed after I reopened Cave Editor. But it still doesn't let me "Save and Test".

When I open up doukutsu.exe with the Cave Editor and change something, like add a map or edit one, I can't save my progress. I save, and then when I load it again it's back to the original. I've read dragonboots' guide, did some searching but nothing helped. I'm new to this.

Well guess I'll have to satisfy myself with Lowel commenting every rock he sees.

This mod isn't too hard, it's just annoying as hell. All the bosses were "cleverly" redrawn. As much as a dragon replacing balrog's frog form and toroko's enraged form is amusing, the hitboxes got sorta messed up and it's pretty fucking annoying when there's no save spot before a boss fight, so...

Maybe you should release a "shortened dialogue" or "removed pauses" version.

That's a decent drawing, but the part where the wrist connects to the arm seems a bit too fat, don't you think? As for the mod, well...do you have any programming experience?

Wow, this has got to be the longest mod I've ever played. It's bug free too. But how do I get to the lower part of sandzone, or is there for the heck of it?

Hey when do I get a weapon in this mod? It felt impossible to win when all those bees spawned in the beginning, maybe because there was no life refill in the safe-house.
