This Gardevoir's arms seemed ridiculously short at first glance, but with a closer look they seem to be only slightly so. Having giant hands kind of screws with perception, and it's not like Gardevoir are to be all that trusted or scrutinized when it comes to proportions. A little leeway is...
This ship's never going down, and that's a good thing. I'm just not enthusiastic about Gallade, and I don't really know why. But they're capable of being cute as well, and combined with Gardevoir great adorabitude usually ensues. ^_^
I'll update my avatar, location and Signature set once I get home! The Special Album's been updated for awhile, but it will finally be complete with the last 3 unique avatars today, and I'll finish my late gallery uploads. With any luck, I'll also be doing some cooking. -w-
*passes out Hype! brand paper bags*
I haven't played the original Ni no Kuni, because I'm a cheap bum living two or three generations behind everyone else! But I've heard of it being a lovely game and I'm happy that it's getting a sequel. :debug:
@Raus Metroid shoots things, but he can't crawl!
I really do think that this sort of work with patterns is a dedicated style, but I could obviously be mistaken.
It's ridiculous how delicate and gorgeous this coloring is. Simply preposterous! This Kirlia is super cute and makes me question my shaky decision to pursue programming rather than art, just a little bit.
I swear that there's a dedicated art style that involves the use of different patterns like this, but for the life of me I don't know what it is. I'm uncultured and ignorant and terrible and other such associated shortcomings, it's not a good place to be in.
...I can at least tell you that this...
I'm pretty sure that the upper line of text just means Gardevoir, and I hope that the lower half isn't anything special. Getting the Google Translate app to recognize written characters is hard enough without handwriting getting into the mix, and I can't just bug GIR every time I can't read...
On a slightly related note, I've also been listening to and greatly enjoying a podcast by the name of My Brother, My Brother and Me. Maybe a general media sharing thread would be a fun idea, since obscure gems like these are everywhere if one looks hard enough!
I just found out the name of a book, which I've been looking for over the span of a decade. I'm very glad that I did, as The Last of the Really Great Whangdoodles is one of my favorite books and I'd love to go read it again. <3
I'm very glad that you liked them. To be honest, your ingredients, preparation and explanation of what chilaquiles represent are all probably way more traditional than what I've had in the past, especially given my aversion to spicy things. I'm not the most in touch with my culture, sadly...
@Raus It's always fun to see how gijinka pics deal with those things, if they're included at all. Ribbons are a cuter strategy than most I've seen. ^_^
@Miccs Thank you. If I keep my current pace up I'll have 660 by this time next year! :3
...Also, I wasn't paying attention and didn't make a special upload for the 400th pic. Whoops.
EDIT: Don't worry, past me, you also forgot Gallade's anniversary! I didn't quite make even 600, but I also...
There's a weird mix of classical and stylized elements here, and it makes for a pretty neat arrangement! :>
...also, funky left tendril is funky. There really isn't much to say about it besides the usual note of Gardevoir being an eerie Fairy in the Amorphous egg group, but it's best to address...
