Two corrections. 1) The plural form of axis is axes. 2) The top left corner of a map is (0, 0), not (1, 1) But yeah, it does start in the top left corner of the room.

In this code below: <TRA0012:0091:0037:0011 The thirty seven corresponds to where you character will spawn along the X axis on the map, and the eleven corresponds to where your character will spawn along the Y axis on the map. This tutorial is a very good place to learn how to mod Cave Story.
